Ireland – the revelation after a stormy weather inside myself

Hey everyone.
I will publish this post in English because of my dear international friends…that want to know more on “how is Ireland?”…
Ireland is a land of mystery… that was my perception as an East European… the landscape was really new to me since we don’t have any coasts in Romania…
We went in 3 different places during 3 visiting days:
- Walking on the East coast
- Hiking In the mountains - Glendalough
- Touristy stuff in Dublin City
I’ll just point out 2-3 words on each …just a bit of flavor to get you inside the real feeling…
The East coast… the place where the sea touches the cliffs…where the seagulls feel at home and you can see the infinite..
Ok…close your eyes now and imagine…
- wide open space
- 2 shades of blue…a darker shade…with tiny waves leaving small wrinkles here and there – the sea
- …and a lighter shade…with puffy white-grey cotton like with strange and erratic shapes – the sky
- green… green behind you, to your left and to your right… with cream colored dots of lumpy sand and irregular rocky areas – the cliffs
- you…. Having the 2 shades of blue in front and the green coming to live behind, on your left and on your right
…so if I were to wrap up…it’s you , the sea, the ski and…the cliffs…it’s the ultimate way to get closer to the inner self.. to your deepest thoughts and ideas… to your goals and visions…to rediscover values and life itself
you and the infinite…all around…in a gap in space…a window open just for your mind and soul

Glendalough
… feeling like in the lord of the rings… you bet! :)
Our spectacular adventure on the green lands in the mountains started on the run since we did not know if we’ll catch the bus to Glendalough or not… finally breathing like steam locomotives we got to the bus and hip hip hooray!! Off we left…
The bus takes around 1h and 30 min from Dublin to the place and the landscape is really colorful… shrubs with yellow smiley flowers around the houses and the roads…green trees… hmm.. if I come to think of it… everything was green around…hehe…we were in ireland…right?:)
Attention: Ireland has 40 natural shades of green so…imagine the view
The mountain walks are built in such a manner that it’s really easy to get to places and really civilised… so we went to 2 lakes and we followed a walkway filled with tourists but also we hiked higher on the mountain and that is when it all got super nice – the view with the lake and mountains – really good
For the romanians reading this – the view was similar to the one at SF ANA lake.
Glendalough is a place for relaxing and just chilling in the sun… cooling your feet in the clear water, playing and having fun

Dublin city…They say that in Ireland it’s always pouring but the bars are always dry.
Indeed the irish people seem sooo happy and joyful and talkative that it’s impossible not to like them.
They are not as polite as brits and maybe this is why I felt closer to their spirit ..hehe
We went in the oldest pub in Ireland and had a Guiness… uhuuu… great stuff…we saw the river, Temple bar, small markets, pebbled walkways…
Our beloved guide- miss Prue had everything organized – trips… walks… everying :o) cause you know,,, when in Ireland…do as the irish do
Thanks Prue for everything – especially for the great chats we had!

And yeap…
Ireland is definitely the place to be!:)
