breaking some miths - this is 4 AIESEC people

dupa hmm... 2 ani de cand stiu despre melodia asta... i am breaking a mith...
Ndihamba Nawe (5:52)- a massive hit which was inspired by Sophie Mgcina's 1960s recording of Mmangwane.
Sophie Thoko Mgcina contributed immensely to South African arts as a composer, singer, actress and educationist.
In her popular 1960s song Mmangwane, she sings: ‘It’s raining outside/ Aunt open the door for me/ Please forgive me/ I was nearly murdered by tsotsis in the streets/I had to sleep in the veld twice/Aunt open the door for me/Please forgive me…’
o alta versiune pe care am descoperit-o este ca...
The song is based on a traditional wedding song, and the Xhosa expression “Ndihamba Nawe” is declared by a girl expressing her love for a boy. There is a soaring gospel chorus behind Nhlanhla's plaintive vocals, with a catchy African flavoured dance track in the background. This was such a huge hit, no one can spend long in South Africa without hearing it repeatedly. Even if you can't understand the words, it will get you singing along.

hmm...
